AMA Building: Update XVII
At this writing there were three weeks left in 1982, so the next update will be the last installment of this series of reports on the 1981–82 Building Fund Drive. In this report we take a moment to thank the AMA officers who helped make this drive a success.

All of these people donated their own time in making pins and patches available on the local level to raise money for this project.
Were they successful?
You bet. For example, Al Scidmore (District VII AVP) reordered materials from AMA on six occasions. His club alone has donations totaling $1,656; the Madison Area Radio Control Society is proud to be one of the clubs that made the suggested goal of $15 per member.
Donor name verification
If you made a donation of $50 or more, please review the November 1981 through March 1983 (this issue) issues of Model Aviation and find your name. If it is spelled or entered incorrectly, contact AMA HQ as quickly as possible. Hopefully, the next issue will include a "proof sheet" containing the names of all donors. We publish contributors' names first to acknowledge their gifts and second to ensure the names are entered correctly.
The importance of reviewing next month's list cannot be overstated, since it will contain the names of all those who are to be acknowledged in the lobby of the new Headquarters building — "up front" donations recorded in the "up front" place. We will continue to raise money to become absolutely debt free, but recognition in the lobby is restricted to those who donated substantial amounts in 1981–82. These people made it possible for this project to really begin.
Honor Wall recognition
Honor Wall recognition (contributions of $1,000 and up) is now extended to Northern Virginia RC Club, which made a second $500 donation.
