Dave Brown's monthly column, "President's Perspective," in the July issue of Model Aviation focused on the issue of additional revenue needed by the Academy. There is no doubt that additional funds are needed if we are to continue current programs. The unfortunate circumstances brought on by the changing society in which we live make this necessity clear.

I thank all those members who provided input directly to me. The membership appears positive and understanding of the situation. I am confident the Academy will be able to continue its long-standing quest to serve the members as they desire.

Many clubs are asked to provide entertainment for various community events. Often expertise in this type of activity is lacking.
