Normal, IL — Lincolnland Air Show Team
The Lincolnland Air Show Team is a busy group. Their latest venture was a show at Parkside Junior High School in Normal, IL, presented in conjunction with the school's program about flight.
Three hundred seventy-eight eighth-graders participated in the program for a week. Several students, as well as the principal, Doug Wood, received some stick time and were awarded flight certificates.
Members of the Lincolnland Air Show Team judged the students' paper-airplane contests. The team provided the school with the complete AMA educator's information and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) education package.
The team also provided the school library with a subscription to Model Aviation.
