Wingbuster's Field — April 11, 2004
On Sunday, April 11, 2004, I visited the Wingbuster's field for the first time this year. John Arrigo, the club president, was there with his new Sig 1/4-scale Piper J-3. The airplane took approximately two years to build, and the results are worth it. It is probably one of the nicest J-3s I have seen, and the first flight was nearly flawless. It is covered with 21st Century fabric and powered with an O.S. 1.60 twin.
495th RC Squadron Auction — March 2004
The 495th RC Squadron held its annual auction in March. The club auctioneer, Joe Ramaci, has held the position for the past 25 years. This year Joe was honored with several awards and gifts from the club and was presented with a Superior Service Award from the AMA.

Despite the honors, Joe still had to continue with the auction.
