Former HQ Staff Member Dies
Robert E. Vojslavek, former AMA Director of Operations, active volunteer, and longtime modeler and AMA member, passed away October 21, 2000. He was 63.
Most recently, Bob was instrumental in the creation of AMA’s Grand Event—an annual activity at the International Aeromodeling Center designed to introduce the public to different kinds of outdoor hobbies. He also brought organized radio-control car activity to the national flying site.

AMA Annual Membership Meeting
The AMA Annual Membership Meeting will be held March 3, 2001, at the Southeastern Model Show in Perry, GA. The meeting location is the Roquemore Conference Center at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & AgriCenter. This facility is located off Interstate Highway 75; take exit 135. The meeting will begin at 4 p.m.
The Annual Membership Meeting for 2002 will be held at the AMA Convention in Pasadena, California. Exact dates and times will be available at a later date.
