Modeling Classifieds

The Academy of Model Aeronautics and RCMarket.com have reached an agreement that offers AMA members access to one of the most sophisticated hobby-related classified systems on the Web.

The partnership enables AMA members to post an advertisement on the AMA Web site (www.modelaircraft.org) and have it automatically posted on 23 other radio-control Web sites which are currently participating in this extensive, one-of-a-kind classified-advertising network.

Members can post advertisements, review postings, discuss ads, and purchase model-aviation items without ever leaving the AMA Web site. Powered by RCMarket.com software, the network offers classified advertisements for radio control, control line, and free flight model-airplane equipment, as well as radio-control car and boat kits and accessories.

The RCMarket software was designed by modelers for modelers, and it features intelligent search and ad-placement systems to streamline the buying and selling process.

RCMarket.com is owned and operated by Kranitz Enterprises, Inc., which has also developed LeaseSource.com, CarWizard, and LeaseWizard.com. Kranitz Enterprises CEO Michael Kranitz, who is an AMA member, has developed several related model-aviation Web sites, including RCAirport.com. —MA
