One Man's Museum
Dick Sherman, AMA Scale Contest Board representative for New England, has a model museum, located in Tewksbury, MA. Among many outstanding and exclusive models is a whole flock of Peanut and other size rubber-powered flying scale models. Included are rare originals by Howard McEntee, designed and built for magazine articles, which appeared in Model Airplane News during the thirties. Howard's models were recently donated to AMA, as have many other items which Dick is holding until AMA establishes its own museum. Also in Dick's museum are original models by Willis Brown, the first AMA President; a fabulous collection.
