Features

  • Six channel functions
  • Dual-conversion circuitry
  • Compatible with any FM/PPM RC transmitter (high or low deviation)
  • Stores channel even when receiver power is off

Specifications

  • Length (including connector pins): 1.875 in
  • Width: 0.875 in
  • Thickness: 1.2 in
  • Weight: 0.54 oz
  • Operates on 72 MHz (up to 50 aircraft channels with a synthesized transmitter)

Setting the channel (setup)

  1. Place the transmitter (antenna fully extended) 20–30 inches from the Seeker 6 antenna.
  2. Turn on the transmitter.
  3. Hold down the "SET" button (can be mounted externally on the aircraft fuselage).
  4. While holding "SET," turn on receiver power.

About this column

In each installment of "Worth a Closer Look" we bring you new and interesting products from the model aviation industry. These write-ups are mini-reviews by the Model Aviation staff — products and services are actually built, tested, flown, or used to provide firsthand accounts.

We find many items on our own, and others are brought to our attention from outside sources. If you have a product or service that might be "worth a closer look," contact Model Aviation Aeromodeling Editor Bob Hunt at (610) 614-1747, or send an e-mail to closerlook@airbornemedia.com.
